This job directly supports VP of Service in day-to-day development and mentoring of plumbing staff, prioritizing safety and providing a service experience that exceeds customer expectation and brings job satisfaction.

General Description of Responsibilities:

Monitor performance of plumbers at all skill levels and coordinate cross-training to develop more efficient technical execution and job performance. When necessary, in field hands on coaching and support.

Coach and lead by example the value of managing workspace for safety, cleanliness, efficiency, and client satisfaction, and the value of professional appearance.

Lead safety meetings, and sales training meetings.

Facilitate ongoing training of plumbers in developing client relationships in order to effectively communicate client’s service and repair needs.

Enhance existing sales strategies and coach the importance of goals for continued company growth and profitability.

Work closely with VP of Service for healthy and smart goal setting and hold plumbing team accountable for achieving and exceeding same.

Review daily paperwork, digital or paper form, associated with field operations, and coach where improvement needed.

Schedule and manage 7 day-a-week shifts for daily and peak seasonal needs.

Partner with administration, customer service, and dispatch for smooth service execution and positive customer experience.

Partner with shop to assign and track tools and equipment.

High School (Some college a plus)
Experienced plumber, minimum 10 years hands on plumbing experience.
